**Job Title:** Social Procurement Manager

Job Description:

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance is a strategic partnership between the South Australian Government and a consortium of leading industry players. This alliance will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, creating a continuous 78km non-stop traffic light-free motorway.

As the Social Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting local businesses, Aboriginal enterprises, and disability organizations to maximize the T2D social procurement strategy. You will work closely with the Commercial, People, and Construction teams to drive business growth and industry capability development activities.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the procurement team with tenders and onboarding related to social inclusion and procurement KPIs.
  • Providing expertise on the South Australian Industry Participation Policy and Social Procurement Strategy.
  • Establishing beneficial relationships with external stakeholders including local businesses and subcontractors.
  • Managing regular meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure targets are met and opportunities are adequately leveraged.
  • Understanding project needs regarding diversity and social inclusion and identifying ways to address these as required.
  • Providing advice and guidance to key resources on commercial risks arising from procurement processes.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, specifically within Industry Capability Development, Social Engagement, Workforce Development, or Procurement.
  • Tertiary qualifications in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field (desired).
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and supporting organizational change and strategic initiatives.
  • Experience in business development and contract management.
