Laboratory Operations Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment at The University of Notre Dame Australia. As a Laboratory Officer, you will provide technical, operational, and administrative support for teaching and promotional activities within the School of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure laboratory operations are running effectively by overseeing and managing day-to-day activities.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory/teaching spaces, classroom materials, and resources for learning and teaching activities.
- Coordinate, organize, and prepare resources required for learning and teaching activities, including equipment and laboratory consumables.
- Maintain stock and store hazardous substances according to university guidelines.
- Service equipment and ensure it's functional and safe to use.
- Completion of a degree or equivalent relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated laboratory experience, preferably in tertiary or higher education sectors.
- Excellent operational, organizational, and administration skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- High level of competency in various software packages, including Microsoft Office Suite and student administration systems.
