We're seeking a highly skilled Experience Vacation Specialist to join our team at Travel + Leisure Co.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is based in Australia, where you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth at our resorts. As an Experience Vacation Specialist, you'll work closely with our resort operations team to provide seamless service to owners and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and register owners and guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Provide expert knowledge of local area attractions and activities, enhancing the overall vacation experience.
  • Manage all department-related paperwork efficiently and effectively.
  • Utilize communication equipment, including telephones, facsimiles, and computers, to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Meet with guests face-to-face, generating sales appointments for our sales centers located at our amazing resorts and via livestream.
  • Build rapport with customers to ensure an exceptional experience is delivered.
  • Work collaboratively with the resort operations team to provide a high level of service and a seamless transition for owners and guests through the check-in process.
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of traveling within Wyndham Destinations' community.
  • Meet targets and KPIs as set by the business.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a similar hotel position, preferably in customer-facing roles.
  • A genuine passion for customer service and the local area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • An enthusiastic, self-motivated, and positive individual who can work well under pressure.
  • Immaculate presentation and professional grooming standards.
  • High levels of computer literacy and experience with PMS systems (Hirum, Fidelio, Opera, etc.) is advantageous.
  • The ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
