About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Civil Engineering Graduate to join our Development Engineering team at the Coffs Harbour City Council.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to build on their early career foundations in civil engineering. As a Development Engineering Officer, you will have the chance to work closely with our team to gain valuable experience in guiding and supporting the development assessment team and assessing and determining subdivision works certificates and subdivision certificates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert advice on development applications
  • Civil works associated with private developments
  • Assessing and determining subdivision works certificates and subdivision certificates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or substantial commencement in Civil Engineering or other relevant equivalent Engineering qualification recognised by Engineers Australia
  • Experience in the civil engineering field
  • Class C Drivers Licence

What We Offer:

  • $76K per annum + Superannuation
  • Temporary Position (up to three (3) years)
  • Full Time 35 hours per week
