Urban Planner

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Urban Planner to join our team in Ballina, NSW. The successful candidate will have a strong background in town planning and infrastructure projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake town planning tasks on projects, both in the office and on site.
• Provide planning services that are fit for purpose, practical, cost-effective, and compliant with relevant design and regulatory standards.
• Assist in the preparation of quotations and tenders.
• Proactively plan, manage, coordinate, track, and run assigned projects.
• Provide regular project reviews and reporting to management and directors as required.
• Provide technical advice to management, staff, and clients.
• Liaise, coordinate, and manage clients, sub-consultants, authorities, and contractors.
• Assign and check work of technical staff assigned to work on a project.
• Review and check town planning and urban design-related information prepared by others.
• Undertake site inspections.
• Attend and participate in client meetings.

About You:

• University degree in planning or town planning, recognized by the Planning Institute of Australia.
• Minimum two years of previous town planning experience, with experience in another consulting position being advantageous.
