Job Title: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical to join our team at Cessna Aircraft Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of maintenance and repair of our aircraft, while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft to ensure they are airworthy and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify and diagnose mechanical issues and implement repairs.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior maintenance team members.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Current B1 or C license.
  • Completed MEA Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and modifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Good computer literacy and experience working with aircraft maintenance programs.
  • Meet the requirements of the Company pre-employment drug and alcohol policy.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain aviation and other government security clearances.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Type Ratings: Bell 212/412, AW139, EC135, H145, PT6 series engines and T53 series engines.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Civil Aviation Regulations and familiarisation with foreign NAA regulations.
  • Competency in the use of computer-aided design programs.
