Job Summary

Sofitel Melbourne On Collins is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our Guest Experience Front Office team.

About the Role

As a Receptionist, you will be passionate about providing a luxurious experience for our guests at every touch point. You will take the time to listen to our guests and make them feel heard, and to do that, you are genuinely fascinated by people, curious, and an excellent story spotter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and personalized service to all hotel guests, visitors, and ambassadors, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Be highly organized and able to effectively manage priorities.
  • Handle tasks carefully and correctly – be thorough and exact in details with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrate versatility in responding to guest requests and situations.
  • Remain calm and effective in high-volume work situations.
  • Be a good team player; contribute to and assist co-workers without being asked.
  • Operate PMS systems efficiently.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude that is reflective of our brand.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months experience in hotels.
  • Opera PMS experience.
