Functional Architect Role

The Functional Architect is the lead expert for implementing Workday HCM solutions. This individual provides strategic guidance and delivery for functional area engagements, working closely with Engagement Managers, Managers, and senior client resources.

This person will oversee functional area architect workshops and client confirmation sessions to ensure efficient and accurate design and configuration of the delivered solution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide functional leadership on multiple concurrent Workday implementations across all functional areas.
  • Oversee the design and configuration of Workday solutions for clients.
  • Act as a sounding board and provide ad-hoc advice for EMs and leads, serving as an advocate and escalation point.
  • Help teams understand and adhere to our implementation methodology.
  • Mentor junior project resources by providing guidance and helping them learn new skills.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Current Workday Certification and certification in at least two subspecialties.
  • Completed minimum 3-5 full lifecycle Workday Implementations.
  • Led at least 2-3 Workday implementations on multiple HCM functional areas.
