Senior Leadership Opportunity

The position of General Manager is a senior leadership opportunity within a mature healthcare business and market leader in its field.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will contribute to and execute against the overall strategic direction for the business, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.

You will lead a team of operational managers and business support teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, team management, business development, project management, technical expertise, financial management, risk management, and collaboration.

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide guidance and support to operational managers and internal business support teams in achieving business targets and driving innovation.
  • Team Management: Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and contracts in collaboration with customer leads.
  • Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, methodologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

A deep understanding of the health sector or personal injury insurance is highly desirable, along with experience in running call centres and using technology to automate, improve, and innovate.

Essential qualifications include an exceptional people leader able to demonstrate significant experience driving change, inspiring high-performing teams, and modelling the values of empathy, collaboration, and inclusion.

Additional skills and qualifications include an executive who works collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to build and deliver shared commitment and coordinated implementation, strong commercial acumen, and significant knowledge or experience in healthcare and/or personal injury insurance.
