About the Job



We are seeking an experienced Operational Area Manager to lead the operational excellence of our Kauai restaurants in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining high-quality food safety and sanitation standards.



Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and oversee operational requirements of allocated Kauai casual restaurant stores
  • Drive a happy and high performing team to achieve results
  • Ensure monthly sales, labour, food cost and P&L reports are delivered accurately on time and within budget
  • Conduct stock take audits bi-weekly and ensure follow-ups are conducted for unsuccessful audits within set time frames
  • Respond to and follow up on all customer complaints with heartfelt service in a timely manner
  • Ensure all stores practice correct food safety, sanitation procedures and ensure any repairs and maintenance are actioned for a clean and safe work environment
  • Review operational records and reports of stores to project sales and determine store profitability
  • Co-ordinate sales and promotional activities of stores to ensure sales budgets are achieved
  • Recruit, induct and train all new starters in line with Kauai standards
  • Provide support, feedback and coaching to Managers and their teams on food product, procedures and standards
  • Identify, plan, implement and monitor personal development of Managers
  • Submit reviewed and accurate payroll information


Requirements



To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • 5+ years of relevant and aligned leadership experience
  • A passion for creating refreshing experiences for people and guaranteeing a super safe and presentable environment for all
  • Experience working with a high-profile consumer brand and the value of a well-oiled machine
  • To be people-focused, warm, honest and genuine, with a can-do approach and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • To be driven, perceptive, and comfortable managing time and delivering results
