Join a private childcare organisation undergoing rapid growth and transformation, seeking an Area Manager for the Western area in NSW.

The successful candidate will oversee 2 early education centres, driving performance and quality by leading Centre Managers. They will promote a culture aligned with the organisation's core values and adhere to policies and procedures as well as the National Quality Framework.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Travel to various centres in Sydney to guide, support, and mentor centre teams.
  • Develop and implement centre programs, systems, and operational processes for successful centre management.
  • Maintain and complete reporting requirements on time.
  • Nurture positive relationships and effective communication with centre directors.
  • Foster open and professional relationships with team members.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentoring to staff members.
  • Support directors in managing centre budgets and expenditure within set frameworks.
  • Ensure centres operate within licensing, legislation, and regulation requirements.
  • Manage staff professional development and individual goals and performance.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required by management.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification.
  • NESA-accredited teacher status.
  • Previous experience as an area manager or strong director with proven multiple centre management.
  • A current First Aid Certificate.
  • A sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Exceptional leadership skills in guiding professional staff.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations.
