Workplace Area Manager

Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • People Management: Provide leadership to workplace teams in the designated area.
  • Mentor & enable training & development of team members.
  • Ensure succession planning and mobility for all critical roles in the area.
  • Nurture an environment conducive to good teamwork and co-operation among colleagues.
  • Promote Initiative/idea-sharing across the sites in the area and create opportunities for wider collaboration in the account and company (regionally and globally).
Client Engagement:
  • Establish/strengthen credible relationships with Client leadership in the area.
  • Respond to client request and concerns in a proactive, constructive manner.
  • Set up documented, regular connects with Client leadership at area sites.
Contracts Management:
  • Ensure that all local/area contracts are carried out in line with terms and conditions and with excellence at area sites, and performance monitored by working closely with regional sourcing team.
  • Work with regional and global purchasing to implement regional/global sourcing strategies.
  • Drive glidepath savings through regular review of contract terms and conditions, application of Six Sigma best practices, as well as other cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure vendors adhere to JLL's Code of Business Ethics.
Site Operations Management:
  • Deliver services as defined in the relevant Schedules of the Master Service Agreement, ensuring their implementation and compliance in line with best practice procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to key performance measurements and achieve specified targets.
  • Ensure that account management is informed immediately of any key performance incidents at area sites and support Account Director in performing follow-up actions and communications.
  • Ensure completion of all required account and client audits and checks, closing findings in a timely manner.
Health and Safety Management:
  • Ensure that area sites meet all JLL, legal and statutory EHS requirements and regulations.
  • Ensure that all JLL staff are working in compliance with EHS regulations.
Finance Management:
  • Ensure that area sites meet all financial targets and control requirements.
  • Provide standard monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and management reports as required.
  • Drive glidepath savings in the area to meet account savings targets; cooperate with regional counterparts on savings as required.
Human Experience:
  • Deliver the account's regional human experience program at all sites in the area.
  • Contribute ideas to the account's human experience regional program.
  • Help to raise awareness of human experience and new ways of working at all sites in the area.
  • Ensure human experience is incorporated into the delivery of all service lines on the account.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

You will have proven leadership experience in Real Estate/Facilities/Workplace Management under your belt. Likewise, you are a pro at handling complex account structures and client sensitivities but keen to keep 'hands-on' with operational issues.

You are a natural problem solver and will need to come up with strategies in applying holistic approaches and long-term solutions for complex problems.
