Hotel Night Manager Role

Pullman Sydney Airport is a luxury 5-star hotel boasting 229 rooms, an Executive Lounge, and a bar.

We are looking for a full-time Hotel Night Manager to lead our friendly Front Office Team and be responsible for the overnight operation of the hotel.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Assisting with check-in and check-out of guests ensuring all procedures are adhered to
  • Fostering strong communication between the night team and other hotel departments
  • Driving loyalty sign ups in line with targets and associated initiatives
  • Leading by example when attending to guest requests being proactive and resourceful
  • Actively resolving guest complaints and challenges to high levels of satisfaction
  • Providing guidance supporting training and leading the team
  • Taking responsibility for the night audit function alongside the night manager ensuring that all auditing income and revenue reporting are collated to a high level of accuracy
  • Being on top of controlling costs such as wages expenses etc
  • Owning the process of setting implementing and reviewing service standards for the night team
  • Assisting other areas of the hotel during peak times when needed to eliminate potential issues and ensure high levels of guest service
  • Responsible for the health and safety of all patrons guests and staff members

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A fantastic communicator with the ability to initiate conversations with guests and team members
  • Detail-oriented and loves the challenge of owning the operation and night audit with your team
  • Experienced in a similar role or environment
  • Great with time management and a multi-tasking guru
  • Outcome-driven when it comes to performance and results
  • Experienced in Fidelio or Opera PMS hotSOS
  • A current NSW RSA and Senior First Aid Certificate holder ability to obtain
  • An Open manual driver license holder
  • A night owl working overnights 10.30pm - 6.30am and the flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and Public Holidays as per business demands
  • Able to work in Australia full unlimited working rights
