About this Role

The Family Preservation and Reunification Practitioner will support the Practice Leader with leading the FPR team.

Responsibilities include contributing to quality practice through supervision, coaching, consultation, training for staff and students, service development, quality improvement practices, and casework in the FPR team.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity based in Mildura/Mallee within our Family Preservation and Reunification Response program. The position reports to the Practice Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing risks, needs, and safety for vulnerable children, young people, and families
  • Providing clinical interventions and family-centred practice with vulnerable children, young people, and families with complex needs
  • Sound knowledge of child welfare and Best Interests of the Child Practice Model
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, written, verbal, and computer skills
