Child and Family Support Specialist

The Family Preservation and Reunification team is seeking a skilled practitioner to contribute to the delivery of high-quality practice, supervision, coaching, and training for staff and students. This role will also support service development and quality improvement initiatives.
">This is a permanent part-time opportunity based in Mildura within our Family Preservation and Reunification Response program. The position reports to the Practice Team Leader.
">Key Skills and Experience">- Demonstrated experience in assessment and clinical interventions, family-centered practice, and working with vulnerable children and families.
- Sound knowledge of child welfare policies, including the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and the Best Interests of the Child Practice Model.
- Highly developed skills in risk assessment, needs analysis, and safety planning for vulnerable children and families.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, written, verbal, and computer skills.
- Valid and current Driver's Licence.
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check.
- Valid Employee Working with Children Check.
- Valid NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk-assessed/client-facing roles).
