Families Preservation and Reunification Specialist

The Family Preservation and Reunification Practitioner will collaborate with the Practice Leader to drive high-quality practice within the FPR team. Key responsibilities include contributing to practice excellence through supervision, coaching, consultation, support, and training for staff and students.
This is a part-time position working 30.4 hours per week based in Mildura/Mallee as part of the Family Preservation and Reunification Response program.
Key ResponsibilitiesTo be successful, you will have:
- Extensive experience and skills in assessment and clinical interventions, along with family-centred practice with vulnerable children, young people, and families with complex needs.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 and the Best Interests of the Child Practice Model.
- Highly developed skills in assessing risks, needs, and safety for vulnerable children, young people, and families.
