About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Child Protection Specialist to join our team in delivering high-quality services to the Aboriginal community in New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work sensitively and respectfully with families, children, and young people to identify and address safety concerns
  • Collaborate with other agencies and community partners to develop and implement plans to ensure the well-being of children and families
  • Conduct home visits, risk assessments, and case management to provide support and guidance to families
  • Participate in court processes and prepare court documents as required
Requirements
  • A relevant diploma or degree qualification in a field such as social work, child protection, or a related field
  • At least two years' experience working with vulnerable children, young people, and their families
  • Ability to build positive relationships with the Aboriginal community and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • A valid driver's licence and paid working with children clearance number
Salary and Benefits

The successful applicant will receive a competitive salary ranging from $79,032 to $109,194 per annum, plus superannuation and annual leave loading. We also offer flexible working arrangements, 17 weeks of industry-leading training, and opportunities for career development and growth.
