Senior Human Resources Business Partners

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to provide expert HR consultancy and advisory services to senior management and across the Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide client-focused expert advice and consultancy to senior executives and managers on complex HR management to support business objectives.
  • Manage, mentor, coach and guide team members and business groups on HR matters to facilitate informed decision making and resolution of complex people management issues.
  • Develop, implement, promote and evaluate innovative HR projects, policies, procedures and systems to achieve departmental workforce management objectives and public sector initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in providing HR advisory and consultancy services including advising on legislative and policy requirements, classification management, performance management and strategies.
  • Proven ability to work under limited direction within a team environment, exercising high level of initiative and judgement in setting priorities to achieve objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and undertake sensitive and/or complex matters, analyse and summarise information, and develop and report on appropriate policies, strategies and solutions.
