HammondCare is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing the quality of care for those in need.

We strive to set the standard for relationship-based care globally, catering to individuals with complex needs.

Our Approach

We provide care primarily through hospitals, residential care homes, and home-based services, including dementia support, community palliative care, rehabilitation, positive aging, and older persons' mental health.

The Role

The Quality and Safety Manager ensures our services consistently deliver high-quality care, striving for continuous improvement. This role works closely with residential services to align our delivery with HammondCare's philosophy and models of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting services in understanding their operations' effectiveness and alignment with our mission and models of care.
  • Maintaining relationships with services to encourage escalation of concerns and innovation.
  • Engaging stakeholders at every level to ensure understanding and support for quality improvement.
  • Undertaking investigations, reviews, and audits as scheduled or triggered by changes in service delivery.
  • Monitoring and analysing data to support services in making informed decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare's Christian Mission.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience and knowledge of Health and/or Residential Aged Care standards and processes.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication & written skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and achieve results.
