Senior Aged Care Specialist Role
This senior position involves enhancing quality of care and resident wellbeing by specialising in key areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver expert clinical assessments and care plans that prioritise resident wellbeing.
Lead a team of Registered Nurses to enhance standards of care and foster a positive work environment.
Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to champion continuous quality improvement and respond to unplanned incidents.
Specialise in palliative care, dementia care, or complex wound management to drive meaningful outcomes.
Develop and implement effective mentoring programs for Registered Nurses.
To excel in this role, you will require a deep understanding of aged care quality standards and charter rights. You should possess strong leadership skills and the ability to lead practice improvement initiatives.
About You
Hold a Postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical specialty.
Have 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least 3 years in aged care.
Demonstrate a proven track record of leadership and mentoring skills.
Align with BaptistCare's Christian values and mission.
As a Senior Aged Care Specialist, you will be subject to comprehensive background checks, including a national criminal history check and reference checks.
