Global Markets Trading - Senior Financial Operations Manager

About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Operations Manager to join our team in this key leadership position. As a Senior Financial Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all internal and external financial reporting and filings for all legal entities. This includes managing AASB / IFRS technical accounting considerations, including sustainability reporting requirements, and leading the tax accounting aspects of these entities in partnership with the Tax team.

The successful candidate will also oversee GL account maintenance, including the recording of complex transactions and maintaining required changes to the GL framework. Additionally, they will manage intercompany settlements and related allocations from the Group Finance team, and deal with internal and external partners to ensure the quality and type of data provided is at the required level needed for statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.

You will lead a team of 3, with responsibility for their individual development plans, and help drive the CFO change (automation) agenda throughout the region and support global change initiatives. The role requires identifying continuous improvement opportunities in processes, controls, and workpapers, and ensuring these are well documented.
