About the Role:

The Duty Manager is a key position within the Oscars Group, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the food and beverage service. This leadership role requires a strong combination of managerial, organizational, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to the team, ensuring that all staff members are aware of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable experience.
  • Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the bar, kitchen, and gaming areas, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and ensuring that stock levels are well maintained.
  • Staff Development: Lead, train, and coordinate staff in a motivating, efficient, and effective manner.
  • Financial Management: Manage payments, cash handling, and reporting.
  • Guest Feedback: Handle guest feedback and complaints in an efficient and proactive manner.

About You:

  • Experience: Relevant experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.
  • Certifications: A valid RSA and RCG certificate.
  • Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in personal presentation.
  • Availability: Ability to work a rotating flexible roster, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
