Diverse Learning Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diverse Learning Teacher to join our team at St John XXIII Catholic College. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to make a meaningful impact on the educational journey of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead targeted intervention programs tailored to individual student needs, promoting growth in key learning areas of Literacy and Numeracy.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
- Regularly monitor and assess student progress, adapting interventions as needed to optimise outcomes.
- Offer guidance to teachers on effective classroom strategies for diverse learners.
- Build strong partnerships with parents and caregivers to ensure a cohesive support system.
- Maintain accurate records to document student progress and program efficacy.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with a focus on inclusive education or intervention preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in working with diverse learners, including students with special needs, in a primary school setting.
- Certification and experience in delivering MultiLit programs and literacy interventions to improve student outcomes, or willingness to be trained.
- A strong understanding of intervention strategies, differentiated instruction, and inclusive practices.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive school environment.
