The Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher's Aide to support students with diverse learning needs across K-12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement learning adjustments in consultation with the classroom teacher and the diverse learning teacher
  • Provide scheduled in-class support within an inclusive learning environment
  • Assist students with mobility, eating, and personal hygiene during school and off-site activities
  • Supervise and support students during scheduled breaks
  • Help with exam/assessment provisions, including reader/writer services
  • Organise specialist equipment/aids and assistive technology as required
  • Accompany students on excursions and outings as needed

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Education Support
  • Able to use technology in various formats
  • Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills
  • Bonus: experience working with students with vision impairment
