Job Title: Response Services Officer

Our organisation is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team in delivering exceptional response services. This role involves providing customer-focused enforcement of Council's Local Laws and policies, as well as relevant State legislation.

  • Investigate complaints and serve notices to ensure compliance with Council's Local Laws, State Acts and Regulations, and other legislation relevant to the position.
  • Impound abandoned vehicles and vessels, animals found straying, illegal advertising devices, and other goods and materials illegally placed on land under Council control.
  • Provide professional technical advice and support in relation to Council's Local Laws and State legislation pertaining to animal management.
  • Make timely enquiries and gather evidence for the prosecution of offences against Council's Local Laws, State Acts and Regulations, and other legislation relevant to the position.

About You:

Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. A Certificate IV in Government (Statutory Compliance) or similar relevant experience is required. You will also be able to prepare standard business correspondence.
