**Job Overview:**

As a Response Services Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service and community outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include enforcing local laws and policies, as well as relevant state legislation, with an emphasis on education and self-regulation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Investigate complaints and serve notices to ensure compliance with local laws, state acts, and regulations.
  • Impound abandoned vehicles and vessels, animals found straying, illegal advertising devices, and other goods and materials illegally placed on land under council control.
  • Provide professional technical advice and support in relation to local laws and state legislation pertaining to animal management.
  • Make timely enquiries and gather evidence for the prosecution of offences against local laws, state acts, and regulations.

**Requirements:**

  • Certificate IV in Government (Statutory Compliance) or similar relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with demonstrated ability to prepare standard business correspondence.
