Workplace Injury Coordinator


Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workplace Injury Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the management of workplace injuries, workers compensation claims, and return-to-work programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the management of all workplace injuries, compensation claims, and return-to-work plans.
  • Maintaining injury statistics.
  • Liaising with agents to ensure effective management of claims.
  • Attending claims reviews/conferences and treating practitioner reviews as required.
  • Registering injury information on to QuickClaim and keeping files up to date.
  • Processing all WorkCover invoices as required under state based WorkCover legislations.
  • Liaising with medical clinics as required to resolve any WorkCover certificate and/or invoice issues.
  • Liaising with injured workers as required to resolve WorkCover issues.
  • Maintain data entry of medical expenses, CWEs, days lost and wage reimbursement into QuickClaim.
  • Monthly credit card reconciliation.
  • Ad Hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in a similar role.
  • Strong time management, administration, and organisational skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to coach, advise, and support leaders to assist their team members through injury management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
