Injury Prevention Specialist
We're seeking an experienced and dynamic injury prevention specialist to take a leading role in managing workplace injury and illness by coordinating effective rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.
This is a fantastic career opportunity to join a highly respected organisation and industry leader, where you will work closely with various stakeholders to implement effective prevention and early intervention risk strategies.
You will provide pro-active solutions to overcoming health & capacity challenges, maintain statistics, reports, and ensure relevant policies and procedures comply with legislation.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring injured or unwell employees receive the support they need to recover and safely reintegrate into the workplace.
You will have a genuine interest in health and wellbeing, and be proactive, having strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to positively influence change and engage employees.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require proven experience in injury management roles practicing a multidisciplinary approach within an evidence-based methodology, excellent knowledge of state Workers Compensation schemes, and sound understanding of factors significant to premium management.
