Indigenous Cultural Heritage Program Officer

We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to our cultural heritage programs supporting Indigenous Australians. This role involves working in partnership with traditional owners of the land to manage and promote their cultural heritage.

  • We are looking for someone with strong engagement skills to secure funding agreements between government and traditional owners.
  • Developing an Indigenous employment strategy is also a key aspect of this role, including supporting Indigenous procurement and goodwill/sponsorship programs.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing engagement across government to secure and implement funding agreements. They will also develop the agency's Indigenous employment strategy and support Indigenous procurement and goodwill/sponsorship programs.

  • This role requires the ability to travel regularly between Adelaide and regional areas.
  • An Australian citizen with a valid driver's license and baseline clearance is required.

Desirable qualifications include experience in economic development or program delivery.
