We have an opportunity for an Indigenous Engagement Manager to join us here at Service Stream.
You will join a high-performing and collaborative team based in Adelaide.
About the role You will develop and implement Indigenous engagement strategies including identifying and engaging with Indigenous contractors and developing Indigenous awareness programs to foster a culturally inclusive environment.
Your key responsibilities will include: Identifying, engaging, and building relationships with indigenous contractors and businesses.
Developing and delivering an Indigenous Awareness program to educate and inform staff and contractors about indigenous cultures and histories.
Collaborating with key internal stakeholders to align strategies and ensure integration with broader organisational goals.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and policies affecting indigenous engagement and employment.
Monitoring and reporting on the progress of the Indigenous Engagement strategy and associated initiatives.
Providing support and advice to project teams on indigenous engagement and participation.
Organising and facilitating workshops, meetings, and consultations with indigenous communities and stakeholders.
Acting as a liaison between the organisation and indigenous communities, ensuring open and effective communication.
Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices.
About you Our ideal candidate has experience in a large-scale industrial environment and has a strong understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and issues affecting indigenous communities.
You will also have: Tertiary qualifications in community development, social sciences or related field are highly desirable.
Experience in identifying and engaging with indigenous businesses and contractors.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, with experience in delivering training and awareness programs.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Special conditions Requires the ability to travel intra-state and interstate (ad hoc).
National Police Certificate is required.
A current driver's licence is required.
