Senior Advisor Aviation Governance Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor to join our team and contribute to the governance of airport operations. As a key member of our aviation team, you will play a pivotal role in driving stakeholder accountability and performance across critical airside operations and systems.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aviation operations, ground handling, and turnaround activities, with experience in developing and leading licensing or access agreements in high-risk, customer-focused environments. You will also possess in-depth knowledge of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations, ICAO Annexes, and IATA IGOM, as well as experience in Aviation Safety Management Systems and incident investigations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing access licensing for airside operations, overseeing key aviation systems, monitoring and improving aircraft turnaround processes, driving stakeholder collaboration, leading reporting and analysis, and managing SaaS vendor relationships.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in developing and leading licensing or access agreements in a high-risk, customer-focused operational environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Aviation Operations, ground handling, and turnaround activities
  • ICAM Lead Investigator
  • IATA Ground Operations (highly desirable)
  • Strong understanding of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations, ICAO Annexes, and IATA IGOM
  • Experience in Aviation Safety Management Systems and incident investigations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills within complex operational settings
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements
  • Proficiency in report writing, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement programs
