Melbourne Airport is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced professional to drive governance and stakeholder accountability across our airside operations.

You will be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of aviation in Australia.

The role involves:

  • Managing access licensing for airside operations
  • Overseeing key aviation systems, such as airside driver and vehicle control management system
  • Monitoring and improving aircraft turnaround processes through data-driven insights
  • Driving stakeholder collaboration across ground handlers, airlines, and internal teams
  • Leading reporting and analysis of operational performance
  • Managing SaaS vendor relationships

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in developing and leading licensing or access agreements in a high-risk operational environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Aviation Operations and ground handling activities
  • ICAM Lead Investigator certification
  • IATA Ground Operations qualification (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations and ICAO Annexes
  • Experience in Aviation Safety Management Systems and incident investigations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive process improvements
  • Proficiency in report writing and performance monitoring
