Aviation Governance Professional

The Aviation Governance Professional drives governance, stakeholder accountability and performance across critical airside operations and systems.

As part of our ambitious expansion plans, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of aviation as we propel airport towards becoming Australia’s favourite Airport destination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage access licensing for airside operations to ensure compliance standards
  • Oversee key aviation systems ensuring performance, data integrity and user experience
  • Monitor and improve aircraft turnaround processes through data-driven insights
  • Drive stakeholder collaboration across ground handlers, airlines and internal teams to deliver safe and efficient operations
  • Lead reporting and analysis of operational performance identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Manage SaaS vendor relationships ensuring systems meet current and future business needs

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing and leading licensing or access agreements in a high-risk customer-focused operational environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Aviation Operations, ground handling and turnaround activities
  • ICAM Lead Investigator
  • IATA Ground Operations (highly desirable)
  • Strong understanding of Civil Aviation Safety Regulations ICAO Annexes and IATA IGOM
  • Experience in Aviation Safety Management Systems and incident investigations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills within complex operational settings
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive process improvements
  • Proficiency in report writing performance monitoring and continuous improvement programs
