Seeking an exceptional professional to provide comprehensive support services to veterans and their families who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our nation's heroes and their loved ones. As a Housing Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support services that empower clients to overcome barriers to securing and maintaining safe, stable, and sustainable housing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized case management plans that address the complex needs of our clients.
  • Provide trauma-informed and strengths-based support to help clients navigate the complexities of the rental market and access public, social, and community housing options where eligible.
  • Collaborate with other professionals and community resources to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal outcomes for our clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in housing and homelessness services, with a strong understanding of relevant policies, support frameworks, and community resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • A strong commitment to delivering client-centered support services that prioritize the needs and goals of our clients.
