Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to provide high-quality, personalised support to veterans and their families who are at risk of, or currently experiencing, homelessness across Queensland and the Northern Territory.

This role involves planning and delivering safe, compassionate, integrated and holistic homelessness support that locates the veteran and/or their family at the centre of their support and service networks.

The successful candidate will foster active veteran and/or family engagement in the identification, development and implementation of individualised housing goals through personalised case management plans.

They will apply best practice and veteran-centred knowledge and skills to engage, support, and empower veterans and their families to identify and overcome their homelessness barriers and meet their housing needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case managing clients who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness.
  • Assisting with applications for social and community housing; private rental applications; and tenancy sustainment strategies and support
Qualifications and Experience

You'll have completed an undergraduate degree in Human Services, Social Sciences, Health Sciences (or equivalent).

Experience working in housing and homelessness services, with a strong understanding of relevant policies, support frameworks, and community resources will make your application competitive. We also invite applications from recent graduates.
