About the Role

The Fund Accounting Manager – Operations & Control plays a critical leadership role within our organization, overseeing the Fund Accounting (unit pricing) groups in Australia. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to drive business growth and improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial operations, with a deep understanding of fund accounting processes, business controls, and technical systems. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners.

This is a senior management role that demands a high level of autonomy, accountability, and initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. They will also contribute to the development of functional/operational long-term strategy and aid in the development of annual business plans.

Your Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong technical knowledge of Australia Fund Accounting operational processes, business controls, and technical system specifics.
  • Excellent internal and client relationship management skills.
  • Leadership and organizational skills to determine unit goals and resources needed, assess and develop staff skills, and apply broad industry knowledge and commercial awareness to drive financial performance.
  • In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
