Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Patient Services Assistant to join our team at Kingston Hospital.

As a key member of our General Services department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting healthcare teams in their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean wards and maintain high standards of hygiene
  • Serve meals and mid-meals, and perform kitchen duties
  • Assist with patient discharge and transfer
  • Support nursing staff as needed
  • Transfer and clean ward equipment
Requirements
  • Hold Certificate III Health Services Assistant qualification
  • Have previous experience as a patient services assistant
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Be flexible with availability to work shifts including weekends
