Job Title: Educator

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced educator to enhance student outcomes in Individual Support, Aged Care, and Disability at TasTAFE.

  • We are seeking a dedicated and skilled educator who can deliver high-quality training programs with expertise in Individual Support, Aged Care, and Disability.
  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in the Aged Care, Health, or Disability industry, with experience in direct support roles, management, and coordination highly regarded.
  • They will also possess relevant qualifications, including a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Nursing Qualifications, as well as a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

The ideal candidate will be able to design and deliver engaging lessons, empower students in their transition from campus to community, and create a positive and inclusive learning environment. They will also be committed to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee teaching materials, resources, and equipment.
  • Empower students in their transition from campus to community.
  • Undertake training to ensure continuous evolution with students.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
