We ultimately believe in unleashing all talent to create a better experience for our residents, families and employees.The important role you will play: As part of Regis, you will contribute to delivering meaningful lifestyle activities and building a supportive, engaged community for residents.ResponsibilitiesActive Participation - Lead and participate in the delivery of activities, ensuring they are engaging and meaningfulComprehensive Assessments - Prepare thorough and accurate lifestyle assessments of residentsDetailed Documentation - Ensure complete and timely documentation of resident participation and engagementTeam Management - Manage and coach the lifestyle team to deliver top-notch lifestyle activitiesTraining and Orientation - Support the orientation and training of new team members and volunteersPositive Relationships - Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and volunteersCommunity Engagement - Facilitate opportunities for residents to engage with the broader communityQualificationsDemonstrated understanding of leisure and lifestyle programming and Aged Care Quality StandardsCertificate IV in Leisure and HealthPrevious experience in a Lifestyle Assistant/Coordinator position (or similar), including dementia careExperience using a computerized care management system (desirable) and outstanding computer literacy skillsStrong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsWhat Our People Love About Working HereAs a team that supports older people to live life on their terms, we genuinely care - for our people, our work and the elderly.
