Role Overview
The Psychologist will work collaboratively with consumers, families, and carers to provide evidence-based psychological assessments and interventions. This role requires a high level of expertise in psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment planning, as well as the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic, cognitive, and personality evaluations.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, incorporating a range of therapeutic approaches.
- Collaborate with consumers, families, and carers to develop and implement behavioral support plans.
- Provide secondary consultation to multidisciplinary teams, offering a psychological perspective on consumer care.
- Supervise junior psychologists and students, promoting professional development and growth.
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Monash Health's values and standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Advanced degree in psychology (PhD or equivalent).Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Proven experience in psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment planning.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.What We Offer
