The Role

As a senior psychologist with Agile Psychological Medicine Clinics (aPM), you will work closely with consumers referred from Monash Health psychiatric triage, emergency services, or other mental health services. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Meeting with consumers to understand their issues and needs
  • Providing timely and flexible psychological interventions to make a positive impact on consumers' lives
  • Routinely measuring outcomes and using this data to inform your practice
  • Being part of a strong clinical team that supports each other to do challenging and interesting work

Your Expertise

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience delivering mental health interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), or motivational interviewing (MI)
  • Strong communication and self-management skills
  • A passion for delivering high-quality evidence-based treatments to clients
  • The ability to lead by example and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Interest in working in public mental health
