The Monash Children's Local is an innovative interdisciplinary service that aims to improve the health and wellbeing of children through mental health consultation, assessment, and treatment. As an Occupational Therapist Grade 2, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that provides specialist medical and allied health services to infants, children, and families.
This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a passionate team to make a real difference in the lives of children and families. You will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced environment, working with a range of specialist services, including paediatricians, psychologists, and speech pathologists.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist who can provide discipline-specific assessment, formulation, recommendations, and reports. The ideal candidate will have current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Occupational Therapy, with no restrictions.
You will have experience in a mental health service and/or extensive experience in a relevant area of practice, such as paediatrics or statutory and non-government agencies for this age population. A strong understanding of current, relevant theory, practice knowledge, and evidence in clinical practice is essential.
