About the Role
Monash Health, Victoria's largest and most comprehensive health service, is seeking two part-time senior psychologists to join its Agile Psychological Medicine Clinics (aPM).
The ideal candidate will be an accomplished psychologist with a passion for providing high-quality psychology care in public mental health settings.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Meeting with consumers referred from Monash Health psychiatric triage, emergency or other services in mental health, and jointly with the consumer, come to an understanding of the issues and the consumer's needs.
- Providing psychological treatment, making a difference to the lives of our consumers by providing timely and flexible psychological interventions.
- Routinely measuring the outcomes of your work and having this inform your practice going forward.
- Being part of a strong and supportive clinical team where we support each other to do interesting and challenging work.

About You:
- You are an experienced psychologist with a proven track record of delivering high-quality psychology care.
- You are a flexible thinker with the capacity to self-manage and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- You have experience delivering mental health interventions and are competent in one or more of the following: cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT) or motivational interviewing (MI).
- You lead by example, are passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence-based psychological treatment to all clients, and are interested in a psychology-specific role in public mental health.
