Job Overview

As a Category Insights Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving category growth for our business and within grocery channels. You will collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to transform insights into actionable plans.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the FMCG industry and have experience working with IRI/Circana, Quantium, Synergy, and NielsenIQ data. They will be able to translate complex data into meaningful insights and communicate these effectively to internal stakeholders.

  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive category growth and maximize sales
  • Conducting analysis and monitoring of category performance, including competitive landscape and reporting to Senior Management
  • Managing relationships with key suppliers and negotiating prices and promotional strategies
  • Enhancing the capabilities of Sales and Marketing teams in utilizing IRI/Quantium/Synergy data effectively
Key Responsibilities
  • Providing expert advice on category insights and influencing business decisions
  • Developing annual category plans and ensuring alignment with Marketing and Sales teams
  • Identifying and clearly communicating specific actionable opportunities for key categories
  • Driving market share by sharing critical insights that identify key areas of focus
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a Category Insight Analyst role within FMCG
  • In-depth knowledge and experience on IRI/Circana, Quantium, Synergy, NielsenIQ data
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
