Key Role: Category Development Specialist

This is a pivotal position responsible for driving the strategic growth and profitability of a category.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximise sales and profit by effectively managing inventory in line with annual targets
  • Lead and motivate the category team to deliver exceptional results
  • Develop and execute a customer-centric category strategy within an omni-channel business framework
  • Identify market and product opportunities for enhancement
  • Develop and manage product ranges and promotional calendars that drive competitiveness
  • Conduct regular range reviews to ensure alignment with market trends and customer needs
  • Foster strong internal and external relationships to drive business success
  • Maintain effective partnerships with domestic and international suppliers
About You
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and merchandise/category expertise, preferably in an omni-channel environment
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
