About This Role

We're seeking an experienced Security Operations Specialist to join our team.

This is a key role that involves proactively monitoring and analyzing security tools for suspicious activities or alerts. You will be responsible for identifying patterns of malicious behavior, triaging and investigating security incidents, and collaborating with infrastructure or security engineering teams to implement improvements in security tools and logging.

As a Security Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data. You will work closely with our security teams to develop and implement threat detection rules, integrate external and internal threat intelligence into detection and response workflows, and create threat detection rules based on threat intelligence and known malicious IOAs.

You will also be responsible for producing and presenting technical reports for stakeholders, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to respond (MTTR), and identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated years of experience in Security threat monitoring, assessment, investigations, and a strong analytical and investigative skillset. Industry certifications such as CISSP, SANS, CISM, CEH are highly regarded.
