We are seeking experienced nurses to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities.
This locum-based role offers short-term placements where you will work on-site in remote clinics, delivering culturally safe, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
Job Description:The NT Remote Locum Program is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led workforce program dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities across the Northern Territory.
- Provide high-quality patient care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote communities.
What You'll Need:
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience.
- Minimum of 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months.
- Current BLS / CPR certificate.
- Current recognised Immunisation certificate.
- Current Northern Territory Working with Children's Card, or willing to obtain.
- Fully paid locum placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote NT communities, with travel and accommodation covered by us.
- Cultural orientation and 24/7 support to help you transition into remote healthcare.
