Culturally Sensitive Health Support Worker
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Culturally Sensitive Health Support Worker to provide antenatal and postnatal support to Aboriginal women at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of our community.
The successful applicant will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the provision of culturally appropriate healthcare to expectant mothers and their families.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A Certificate IV in Aboriginal Primary Health Care Practice or willingness to attain
- Knowledge of and affinity with the local Aboriginal community
- Ability to work effectively with Aboriginal women, families and young children
