About the Position
We seek a compassionate clinician to provide short-term counselling services and guidance to organizations on improving workplace mental health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver culturally informed guidance to organizations on improving workplace mental health and well-being.
- Provide short-term counselling services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients.
- Facilitate group sessions and training on mental health, well-being, and cultural competency.
- Contribute to ensuring culturally sensitive services are provided to both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in providing mental health and well-being support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals.
- Strong understanding of the cultural, historical, familial, and societal factors influencing mental health in First Nations communities.
- Qualifications in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work.
- Professional registration with a relevant health professional body (AHPRA, AASW, ACA, PACFA).
- Minimum of three years of counselling experience.
