Publisher Sales Director - APAC

The Publisher Sales Director - APAC will drive success for the Publisher Development team and Gum Gum's publishers in the SEA & Australia region.

This role will cultivate C-Suite publisher relationships and leverage metrics to drive the publisher acquisition process with operational rigor.

The ideal candidate will generate lucrative business model opportunities by deepening premium supply partnerships, identifying new revenue trends, and leveraging a thorough understanding of the industry.

This role will work closely with the regional Head of Demand Sales and other leaders to understand bespoke customer needs and deliver on those needs with a client-first mentality.

The Publisher Sales Director - APAC will also collaborate with other regional Pub Dev leaders within the organization to share best practices and ensure a holistic approach for global publishers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pitch to senior-level decision-makers and close new supply partnerships.
  • Nurture a pipeline of premium publishers to meet revenue goals.
  • Manage strategic channel partnerships and assess new market opportunities.
  • Streamline processes to accelerate sales growth.
  • Shape the portfolio to meet sales targets in publisher quality and targeting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 8+ years in ad tech, with 7+ years in business development/sales.
  • Proven experience in sourcing and securing partnerships, particularly in business development.
  • Expertise in complex, multi-faceted ad tech products and supporting technologies.
  • Strong industry network and consistent track record of meeting/exceeding business targets.
  • Deep knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, programmatic media buying/selling, and emerging trends.
  • Ability to provide leadership with insights on trends, performance, and strategy.
  • Proficient in Power Point, Excel, Salesforce, and Google Drive.
  • Strong communication, presentation, closing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-departmentally and lead strategic conversations.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and time management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, creative problem solver with a growth mindset.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region.
  • Based in Sydney, Australia, or Singapore.
